- Servers are located in the United States (or your selected region)

You can view and export your data at any time through the app:

6.2 Delete Your Data
You can delete your data in two ways:
- Delete Individual Items: Remove specific swipes, matches, or preferences
- Delete Your Account: Profile → Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account
- This permanently deletes all your data within 30 days
- Includes: swipes, preferences, matches, profile data
- This action cannot be undone
6.3 Control Your Privacy
- Notifications: Enable/disable in Settings → Notifications
- Friend Visibility: Control who can see your taste profile
- Data Sharing: Opt out of analytics in Settings → Data & Privacy
6.4 GDPR Rights (EU Users)
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of your data (data portability)
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

When you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.
Limited backup copies may be retained for up to 90 additional days for legal, security, and disaster recovery purposes, after which they are also permanently deleted.

MoviEase is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@moviease.app.

If you are accessing MoviEase from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using our Service, you consent to this transfer.

- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top
- Sending you an in-app notification for significant changes
